Bloom Daily Planners is a brand that produces a wide variety of academic and organizational products, currently primarily for women, they also have products now geared for men. Bloom is more than just colored ink on paper. Bloom's mission is to inspire and empower women (and men!) around the world to bloom into the best possible version of themselves. Bloom began as a small seed that has grown into something big. A planner is more than just a planner – it’s a diary of your past and a stepping stone to your future! We also realize that even in a world where everyone is reliant on their cell phone or ipad, there is still something important and special about writing things down. The placement of every inspirational quote and the wording of every reflection that are in our products is important because we want our products to speak to our users throughout all the seasons of their lives.
Working as Creative Director at Bloom it was my duty to fulfill and express Bloom's mission through its products. I played a vital role in establishing and developing the look and feel for this brand. Working in a leadership role allowed me to learn what it takes to operate and work under small and growing business. Working here also allowed me do what I love on a daily basis, work with amazing coworkers, as well as to take the rains to develop the graphic design department. I was able to hire and guide a team of talented graphic artists by delegating projects best fitting to artists related skills and experience. I was able to travel to many cities and work as an integral part of the tradeshow team. The most rewarding part of my job here was hearing how our products truly help our customers.
